Job Description
Position: Temporary Seasonal Maintenance Assistants
Qualifications:
- Experience with and knowledge of the general principles of grounds maintenance.
- Knowledge of and experience utilizing the tools and power
- Equipment required for grounds maintenance.
- Knowledge of safe work practices.
- Physical capability sufficient to perform job tasks.
- Valid CT drivers license.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Reports to: Director of Operations
Compensation: $16.35$20.00 per hour based on previous experience
Performance Responsibilities:
Assist with the operation of lawn mowers lawn tractors weed trimmers and all outdoor grounds equipment.
Assist with the landscaping of school grounds including planting seeding trimming grass shrubbery and trees and related landscape activities.
Assist with preparing the athletic fields for sports events.
Assist with picking up paper rubbish and debris on schools property.
Assist with transporting refuse to dumping areas as required.
Assist with performing painting and custodial work as assigned.
Other Skills/Abilities:
Capable of working independently without constant and continuoussupervision.

deadlines with time constraints interacting with the public and
certainly with other employees.
This position may require working irregular or extended hours.
