We Require
One year of experience performing specialized clerical and customer service duties
High school diploma or GED
We Also Value
Clerical/customer service experience in a law office judicial or law enforcement environment.
Job Contributions
Receive and greet incoming visitors.
Answer bureau phone line & monitor bureau email inbox.
Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers both in person and via telephone.
Open sort and distribute incoming mail.
Log incoming case submittals from law enforcement agencies.
Copy scan and upload case related documents into case management system.
Assist with document delivery runs.
Retrieve case information from various court and law enforcement agency databases.
Perform criminal history/criminal records checks and bureau specific data entry with exceptional accuracy.
Document and maintain monthly work statistics.
Maintain a current Terminal Operator Certification with Department of Public Safety.
Working Conditions
Mostly office setting in high volume fastpaced environment.
Requires long periods of sitting while completing computer activities.
Ability to travel to and from various county locations for meetings and training utilizing personal or county vehicles.
Ability to lift boxes and/or pull mail carts weighing 25 40 pounds.
The Maricopa County Attorneys Office requires a thorough background check of all successful candidates and is authorized to test prospective employees for the presence of illegally accessed drugs. Drug testing is conducted once an offer has been extended and prior to placement.
