Amazons Legal Department is looking for a talented attorney to support our Fulfillment Technologies and Robotics organization. You will be an integral part of the business teams you support providing counsel on new products and services regulatory compliance matters commercial relationships and disputes and inquiries. You will help business teams innovate for our customers while helping clients anticipate and address legal risk. You will develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative businesscentric ways and you will build processes that provide your clients with the flexibility and freedom to innovate and scale quickly. The successful candidate will be inquisitive enthusiastic about technology enjoy working hard and being continually challenged and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations. As you will be working with teams who are developing products and technology that will be leveraged globally some travel may be required.
2 years of legal experience Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent Experience in private practice or in house experience at a technology company or equivalent
Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and inhouse work Ability to work effectively and demonstrate sound judgment in fastpaced ambiguous situations Ability to work independently while contributing successfully to crossfunctional teams Excellent organizational skills ability to manage multiple projects at once follow through and meet deadlines Strong written and oral communication skills
