The fulltime nonadministrative Assistant Professor holds either a 10month or 12month appointment with all rights and responsibilities of faculty appointment. Primary responsibility focuses on providing instruction in Anatomy & Physiology Labs and an effective environment for student learning service and scholarship. #CB
ResponsibilitiesJOB FUNCTION
- Mission Engagement
- Actively engages in the Catholic and Franciscan mission and identity of Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University by modeling the Franciscan Values promoting justice from the communities we serve and integrating the Catholic and Franciscan intellectual traditions in courses programs and services.
- Teaching
- Implements curricular and instructional interventions
- Develops student learning outcomes
- Utilizes peer review and coaching
- Teaching
- Applies what has been learned from formative and summative feedback on instruction
- Engages in professional development activities to promote development in the scholarship of teaching and learning
- Advising
- Reflects on summative students evaluation of academic advising experience
- Assesses reports and perceptions of peers and others regarding fidelity to academic advising roles and responsibilities
- Contribution to rolerelated knowledge base
- Presents at local state national and international professional conferences
- Demonstrates publication of works identifying type (i.e. peer review) audience (i.e. journal and journal distribution) and focus (i.e. discovery application and/or integrated knowledge focus)
- Contribution to rolerelated knowledge base
- Demonstrates citations of own work(s) in others works
- Solicits and participates in funded research (identifying specific role funding source and status of project)
- Professional Service
- Participates in local state national or international professional agencies
- Community Service
- Actively participates in community groups and organizations as related to the Colleges mission
- Institutional Service
- Participates in committee work at the program school or institutional level (delineate roles and nature of participation)

QualificationsEXPERIENCE
At least one (1) year of teaching experience
EDUCATION
Masters Degree and successful completion of 18 credit hours graduate study in a related discipline
