An Ofstedrated Outstanding secondary school in East Sheen is hiring a Biology Teacher for September 2025.
This Biology Teacher role is perfect for someone passionate about the natural sciences and confident in delivering engaging practical Biology lessons across KS3 KS4 and potentially ALevel. As a Biology Teacher youll be part of a thriving Science department that places strong emphasis on lab work STEM enrichment and academic excellence.
The school is eager to appoint a Biology Teacher who can deliver wellstructured lessons raise attainment and promote curiosity in the subject. Whether youre a seasoned Biology Teacher or an ECT with a Biology degree and a strong placement this role offers a fantastic platform to grow.
As a Biology Teacher in East Sheen youll also have the opportunity to take on enrichment responsibilities such as Science Clubs or ecoinitiatives.
Biology Teacher Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and practical Biology lessons
- Support students in preparation for GCSE and ALevel exams
- Take part in STEM clubs and science competitions
- Work collaboratively with Science colleagues
Person Specification:
- UK QTS and a degree in Biology or a life science subject
- A confident practical approach to Science teaching
- Excellent behaviour management
