Job Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients to identify client business problems clarify analytics objectives establish priorities create practical roadmaps identify data needs formulate data solutions drive and execute analysis package and present insights to stakeholders and implement recommended solutions (15%);
- Collaborate closely with the Advanced Analytics and Data Sciences teams to formulate analytic solutions and contribute to a variety of validation activities such as data processing and engineering statistical analysis model design execution and evaluation and campaign/marketing performance evaluation (15%);
- Define a comprehensive measurement framework develop effective reporting and dashboards to evaluate marketing performance and provide recommendations for enhancement (15%);
- Work crossfunctionally throughout the organization to implement client solution recommendations manage team and project tasks timelines and deliverables on time and accurately (15%);
- Anticipate project risk and constraints and proactively work on solutions to address the risk/constraints (10%);
- Mentor analysts and provide expertise and career advocacy to junior team members (15%);
- Identify and develop best practices case studies training class materials and whitepapers/blog posts (10%); and
- Package selected interim and final deliverables for reuse by Merkle teams including rationale for why options/tactics were chosen (5%).
Required Skills/Experience/Education:
Must have the following experience to perform the abovementioned tasks:
- Experience in quantitative marketing using database and email methods;
- Experience with Python R and SQL;
- Experience with GCP and AWS cloud platforms;
- Experience with Databricks and Snowflake;
- Experience with Tableau for data visualization;
- Experience with data processing data wrangling feature engineering and feature selection;
- Experience with model development and evaluation including statistical model design time series model ML models and deep learning models;
- Experience with statistical analytics methods and tests;
- Experience with project management including specification gathering developing roadmap managing expectations and coordinating delivery; and
- Experience working directly with clients.
- Requires a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Statistics Economics Data Science or related quantitative field and at least one year of experience as a Data Analyst or related occupation.
The annual salary range for this position is ($80000$119000)). Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience knowledge skills and other factors permitted by law.
