About us
Placemaking NSW is responsible for managing and caring for some of Sydneys most iconic harbourside venues and locations including The Rocks Barangaroo Darling Harbour and White Bay Power Station. We also lead the planning and delivery of the Bays West Urban Renewal Precinct a state significant project that will bring new homes jobs and public spaces to 77 hectares of governmentowned land just 2 kilometres from Sydneys CBD.
The role
Youll play a key role in shaping how people connect with some of Sydneys most iconic precincts including The Rocks Darling Harbour Barangaroo and the White Bay Power Station. From developing bold campaign strategies to collaborating with creative agencies and partners this role is all about creating standout marketing that reflect our brand and drive real outcomes.
Its a fastpaced handson role where youll balance multiple projects and deadlines respond quickly to shifting priorities and bring creative ideas to life. Youll need great stakeholder relationships strong attention to detail and a real passion for delivering work that makes an impact.

What you will bring to the role
Youre a proactive marketer with a passion for placemaking activations and retail. With strong digital skills across SEM SEO web email and social media you know how to deliver integrated campaigns that connect with audiences.
You thrive in fastpaced environments juggling multiple projects with ease and are comfortable working across Sydneys key precincts with regular travel to sites as needed.
