Job Description
Roncalli High School on the southside of Indianapolis is hiring a Resource Aide/Job Coach forschool year.
The Resource Instructional Aide assists teachers in the delivery of educational and behavioral interventions of Special Education students. This position works collaboratively by assisting teachers and specialists in assessment academic and instructional support student interactions enforcing safe behaviors and enhancing social growth of students in the school setting. Due to the varied and individual needs of each student Special Education Aides may provide a variety of support and assistance and should be flexible.
The Life Academy Aide assists teachers in the delivery of educational and behavioral interventions of Life Academy students; assists Life Academy students in the cafeteria and work/study locations with the goal of helping students to reach their educational goals. The Aide will drive students to individual work/study locations near Roncalli and provide job coach support. Due to the varied and individual needs of each student Special Education Aides may provide a variety of support and assistance and should be flexible.
1/2 day as Instructional Aide
1/2 day as job coach for the Life Academy; workstudy program
