The Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) is the states lead conservation agency and it takes a diverse agency to conserve resources for a diverse commonwealth.

The Grant Support Specialist provides administrative support for the Division of Dam Safety and Division of Floodplain Management grant activities as it relates to planning administration and coordination of state grants. This position assists the Grant Manager in managing the Agencys grant making activities including issuing grant award and compliance materials budget amendment and extension requests and grant payment requests. Additionally this position interacts frequently with internal and external customers using both verbal and written communication skills to discuss grant and financial related matters.
