Title: Sales Excellence Manager Sales Systems

Position Summary:

The Sales Excellence Manager serves within the broader Global Sales & Service Excellence organization as the business representative of the Americas for global sales and order management IT tools such as sales configurator (CPQ) or customer relationship management system (CRM). This includes 1st level user support and training for our sales configurators to external parties (Distributors) and internal RollsRoyce staff to ensure customer satisfaction and business continuity. The Sales Excellence Manager also collaborates in projects related to process/IT improvements and automatization activities.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Serves within the broader Global Sales & Service Excellence organization as the business representative of the Americas for global sales and order management IT tools such as sales configurator (CPQ) or customer relationship management system (CRM).
  • Provides 1st level user support for our sales configurators to external parties (Distributors) and internal RollsRoyce staff to ensure customer satisfaction and business continuity.
  • Represents the customer business and/or user community to determine features that need to be included in the product release; Liaise and collaborate between customer and development team to ensure a clear understanding of features needed.
  • Maintain and communicate a firm understanding of the business domain while working with a diverse group of customers and users to meet the varying needs of different types of users
  • Define the desired project outcomes plan and manage the release adjusting and prioritizing as needed to ensure ROI.
  • Collect and discuss required functionalities with the different stakeholders so requirements can be combined and filtered in the form of a prioritized scrum product backlog
  • Introduce new features after Golive to the organization by creating communications documentation and conducting trainings.
  • Lead global sales related system projects; create and manage project scope schedule budget plan project deliverables and rollout for multiple RollsRoyce Power System and Joint Venture (JV) factories
  • Provide and support process improvement for changing or new business models
  • Define and maintain training documentation for sales tools
  • Conduct key user and end user trainings for RRPS employees and 3rd party partners (customers distributors)
  • Drives initiatives to use new technologies around user support and training (i.e. AI technology or ELearning)
  • Track and assess system sales tools issue management and act as interface between the customers/ users and IT
  • Collaborate with the global organization on business and IT side (including Europe and Asia)
  • Promote a compliance culture in area of responsibility and live the letter and the spirit of the MTU America integrity code
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Special Projects as assigned

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in IT Business or Engineering and 5 years of experience with sales processes and sales systemrelated tools; or 9 years of experience with sales processes and sales systemrelated tools
  • Ability to travel domestic and international (<30%)

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities when issues are complex
  • Excellent ability to manage concurrent projects and bring to completion within deadline
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others
  • Strong ability to work independently and with little direction
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to training diverse groups on technical systems
  • Strong organizational planning and followup skills
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Promote a compliance culture in area of responsibility and live the letter and the spirit of the Integrity Code.
  • Perform special projects as required
  • Bilingual in German or Spanish
  • Good knowledge of MTU or comparable product portfolio
