Job Description

Were looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) who will prospect and qualify potential customers for the Vimeo Sales team building trust and rapport that result in qualified opportunities. The Sales Development Representative is the first point of contact between prospective customers and Vimeo and will be responsible for generating and qualifying new prospects. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for determining potential opportunities for new business and can rapidly qualify convert and assign those conversations.

  • Develop ideal customer profiles for outbound prospecting and qualify prospects while leveraging BANT criteria
  • Grow top of sales funnel through warm and cold outbound campaigns
  • Build new methods for attracting clients
  • Schedule high quality meetings with prospective customers for the sales team
  • Work to meet and exceed monthly goals defined to maximize deal flow with outbound emails calls setting up meetings etc.
  • Speaking to value and return on investment vs. technical functionality
  • Learning how to anticipate and prepare for objections
  • Demonstrating adaptability and flexibility as part of an evergrowing sales organization
  • Managing a high volume of inbound leads with a strategy on prioritization of your leads
  • Researching and understanding various lines of business and personas
  • Work to meet and exceed monthly goals defined to maximize deal flow with outbound emails calls setting up meetings etc.

Skills & knowledge you should possess:

  • 2 years of work experience. Preferably in market research lead generation marketing or sales ideally within SaaS businesses
  • Proven track record of success with a sales cycle
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Have an outgoing personality and the ability to hold an engaging conversation or write an attentiongrabbing email.
  • Identify customer needs and solve for gaps with creative outreach strategy & discovery including but limited to: email copy warm/cold calls social media outreach inperson events
  • High level of resilience and ability to handle objection both over phone and email
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload to maximize efficiency
  • Represent the company and our products with a high degree of professionalism
  • A competitive nature and relentless drive to succeed
  • Experience with or other CRM software outreach Chat tools Zoominfo SalesNav
  • Bonus points for fluency in an additional language
