Job Duties

resources needed to enhance their knowledge skills and abilities so they may better support the mission of the university.
To provide administrative and operational support with a focus on financial and budget related
responsibilities.
Core Responsibilities:
Financial and budget management
Management of multiple budgets (E&G Foundation and Grants)
Develops prepares and maintains financial reports records and reporting tools
Conducts research and analysis and organizes data and information
Comply with university federal and state laws policies rules and regulations
Advise leadership on budget adjustments costsaving measures or reallocations
Track spending and report discrepancies
Procurement oversight
Process vouchers reimbursements and stipends
Conducts workshops
Effective interpersonal and communication skills
o Strong skills in:
Time management and organization
Budgeting methods or accounting practices
o Superior analytical problemsolving and reporting skills
o Demonstrated working knowledge of:
Microsoft Office Suite with proficiency in Excel and spreadsheets or other budgeting software
Applicable federal and state regulations and policies and procedures
o Demonstrated ability to effectively:
Visualize data using dashboards graphs and/or charts
Manage multiple projects in a changing and highpaced environment
o Mastery of financial / project management tools
Minimum Qualifications
Additional Considerations
Considerable knowledge of financial operations budgeting accounting or finance
Experience with Colleague and eVA
Training in public health
