Job Description

REQUIREMENT:
IT Help Desk Specialist
Montpelier Vermont (Onsite)Locals Only
Long Term Contract
Need Overall 8Years of experience
3 References from the recent projects is must.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Strong proficiency in Help Desk and Call Center operations
  • Advanced skills in PC and network troubleshooting
  • Thorough knowledge of help desk software and ticketing systems
  • Familiarity with user support processes for enterprise applications
  • Ability to troubleshoot analyze and resolve issues independently
  • Knowledge of system interfaces and technical documentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in providing internal and external customer support
  • Ability to interpret and apply organizational policies and procedures
  • Working knowledge of training delivery and user guidance
  • Understanding of public sector or government communication practices
Preferred:
  • Strong proficiency in training principles and user onboarding best practices
  • Experience in public relations or stakeholder communication within a government or enterprise setting
  • Familiarity with EProcurement platforms (e.g. Ivalua or similar systems)
  • Proven ability to provide Tier 1/Tier 2 technical support in a fastpaced environment
  • Experience supporting system golives and postimplementation user support
  • Understanding of state or federal IT support protocols and compliance standards
  • Experience working under a Customer Support Manager or similar supervisory structure
Specific Skills:
  • Proficiency in Help Desk/Call Center operations
  • Advanced PC and network troubleshooting
  • Experience with ticketing and knowledge base tools
  • Independent issue diagnosis and resolution
  • Familiarity with system interfaces and integrations
  • Strong verbal and written communication
