WHAT YOULL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE

The Food Safety Analyst Intern will be responsible for ensuring that our food safety practices and procedures align with industry standards regulations and customer requirements. This position will work closely with customers to handle their food safety compliance requests provide guidance on food safety issues and ensure all relevant documents and certifications are up to date. Excellent communication skills and expertise in food safety regulations will help us maintain our commitment to delivering safe highquality products to our customers.

• Coordinate with various departments to ensure that documentation is accurate current and compliant.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer compliance inquiries including food safety andqualityrelatedquestionscompletingcustomerquestionnairesandsurveysandaddressing compliance requests.
• Assistincreatingorupdatingqualitysystemdocumentsincollaborationwithdepartment coordinators.
• Supportthepreparationandexecutionofinternalregulatorycustomerandthirdpartyaudits by managing data preparing reports and updating corrective actions.
• Assistinginemployeetrainingsessionsrelatedtofoodsafetyandcompliance.
• Collaborate with the Data Analyst and Food Safety Department on various projects as needed.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments
• Excellent communication skills which will be demonstrated in constant daily communication to Supervisors peers and reports. Must be able to effectively prepare and present information
• Must be able to work flexible shifts weekend and overtime as business demands
• Proficient in computer software such as Microsoft Word Excel Power Point and Outlook
• Attention to detail and organizational skills

Minimum Qualifications:

Shift 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM; Overtime Weekends and Holidays may be mandatory based on business needs. Rotating workday/time off schedules may be mandatory depending on department/business needs as well.
