ABOUT THE ROLE

Role Overview:

To achieve our ambitious growth objectives we are seeking an exceptional commercial technologist to lead our revenue operations team consisting of our solution architecture and customer success managers.

As the leader in this position you will support the development of the strategy and oversee daily collaboration with sales teams product cloud and cybersecurity teams.

Your expertise will make you a trusted advisor to senior leadership providing guidance on product and technologyrelated decisions. Additionally you will orchestrate and lead technical engagements with our most significant customers and partners focused on designing the scope of cloud migrations and solution adoption.

Qualifications:

The Head of Cloud Solutions should possess the following:

• Degree in a relevant field or be able to demonstrate equivalent work experience
• Deep Azure AWS or VMWare experience
• Minimum of 5 years of handson/deep technical experience across cloud network storage security and datacentre

Responsibilities:

• Developing and owning presales engagements with new and existing customers supporting their successful cloud transformation journey
• Developing our customer success team acting as the voice of the customer you will support the development of strong customer relationships to drive renewals while supporting the identification of opportunities to develop customer growth
• Maintaining a deep understanding of the technology marketplace trends and innovative solutions
• Establishing strong and enduring partner relationships with Broadcom Microsoft Partner Success and Account Management Teams and developing our strong AWS relationship
• Upholding the level certifications and accreditations within the solution architect team and feeding into the training program for engineering/service
• Leading and developing your team to deliver customerfacing sales and technical engagements
• Leading and developing your team to present comprehensive customer RFPs RFIs and SoWs as part of the sales cycle
• Meeting personal KPIs and goaloriented objectives
• Developing and maintaining technical skill to provide thought leadership and expertise to clients

Working Pattern:

We operate with a hybrid working policy where you are required to be in one of our UK locations at a minimum of twice a month at your managers discretion.

ABOUT YOU

Experience and Skills:

• Demonstrated experience in architecting and providing technical presales/solution architecture capabilities within customerfacing sales cycles
• Passion for engaging and leading in person meetings with prospects and customer and comfortable with travelling across the UK
• Demonstrate skills or deep desire to develop Microsoft Cloud skills or Amazon Web Services
• Deep knowledge and certifications related to the Microsoft Azure platform such as Microsoft Azure ExpertLevel certifications
• Broad technical knowledge encompassing all aspects of Cloud & Datacentre and Modern Workplace including Azure SaaS PaaS IaaS M365 VMware and Microsoft
• Cybersecurity and network engineering presales experience are advantageous but support will be provided from these business functions

This is a fulltime permanent position working 35 hours per week. You will be based from Brightsolids Dundee Aberdeen Edinburgh Glasgow or Manchester office with the opportunity to work remotely and flexibly. There are occasional inoffice requirements as well as workrelated travel commitments.
