Elmspring Colony School
Elmspring Colony School is located approximately 60 km south of Taber and is about 10 km northeast of Warner. The school has approximately 16 students in grades 18.
1.0 FTE Temporary Teacher
Assignment includes:multi grade level teaching.
The ideal candidate will:
- be prepared to always demonstrate respect for Hutterite culture traditions and beliefs
- be able to deliver quality instruction in a manygraded inclusive classroom
- be an excellent planner with a solid understanding of curriculum and assessment strategies
- have excellent personal communication and organizational skills
- be able to deliver curriculum in a meaningful and culturally appropriate manner without the use of technology
- cultivate and maintain positive relationships with the German Teacher parents and members of the colony
- be flexible creative committed and able to work well independently as well as contribute positively to our team of colony teachers
- seek professional learning opportunities and engage in the ongoing growth of their professional practice
The position commences August 18 2025 and concludes December 19 2025 or upon return of the incumbent whichever occurs first. This assignment has a possibility of extension.
