Whats the job
The HR Advisor is responsible for providing professional and timely HR advice support and guidance to staff and management across the university. The role focuses on employee relations industrial relations safety compliance policy interpretation data integrity management and operational HR matters. The HR Advisor plays a key role in ensuring HR policies procedures and legislative requirements are adhered to while fostering a positive and compliant workplace environment.
This is a fulltime permanent role based in Sydney.
You will be responsible for:
Employee Relations (ER) & Industrial Relations (IR) Case Support handling cases related to employee and industrial relations ensuring fair and effective resolutions.
HR Advisory Servicesprovide advice and support on HRrelated matters to business
Performance Managementassist in managing employee performance helping everyone reach their full potential.
HR Systems Data Integrity & Workday Task ManagementManaging HR systems maintaining data integrity and overseeing tasks in Workday.
ServiceNow managementHandling ServiceNow management to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
General HR & Business Partnering Supportoffering general HR support and partnering with the business to meet goals.
We Are Looking For:
Demonstrated experience in an HR advisory role or relevant experience
Experience in handling employee relations and industrial relations matters.
Experience using HRIS platforms (Workday experience preferred).
Experience in managing HR data integrity and compliance.
Experience in performance management and workplace safety practices.
Strong knowledge of employment legislation awards and enterprise agreements.
Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion.
