Job Description:
Greeley Campus Support:
Assist the Executive Director with the administration of student services functions on the Greeley Campus.
Attend campusbased staff meetings and relevant training.
Serve as Counseling Team liaison to Greeley based faculty.
Develop partnerships with academic/career programs.
Programming/Training:
Implement comprehensive strategies and outreach programs at Greeley campus to promote mental health awareness on campus and provide preventive and responsive education to stakeholders regarding health.
Plan and implement preventative and educational curriculum for programs and workshops related to mental health and working with students in distress/crisis.
Coordinate and develop curriculum for workshops to students on mental health topics at Greeley campus.
Be involved with educational efforts on a variety of need based topics (suicide prevention mental health resource access problem solving resiliency)
Execute wellness tactics on the college strategic plan specifically for Greeley campus.
Counseling & Crisis Response:
Conduct individual counseling sessions in areas of academic problems personal interpersonal relationships family social and psychological issues.
Establish support groups on campus to assist students with coping strategies related to common issues (e.g. grief/loss singleparent selfharm suicidal/homicidal ideation abuse etc.)
Support development of departmental procedures for crisis response manual based on crisis response policy.
Serves as the lead crisis response point person for Counseling Services at Greeley Campus.
Meet with referred students and help them to gain emotional stability. Assist the student in the problem solving process to make wellinformed decisions regarding alternative choices.
Lead psychoeducational support groups specifically focused on the needs of students and academic cohorts at Greeley campus.
Coordinate relevant training on crisis response for staff on Greeley campus.
Support the Dean of Students and Behavioral Intervention Team with management of CARE cases that include mental health concerns and/or diagnosis by providing appropriate interventions and support.
Provide outside referral resources when needed.
Maintain currency in best practices and emerging theories in the field.
Maintain annual professional development and continuing education credits for licensure.
Maintain student records in an electronic health record system according to professional standards.
Other Duties as Assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Masters degree in Clinical Counseling Social Work or closely related degree
Plus One (1) year of experience in counseling.
Mental health professional licensure: Examples: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW
Maintenance of required number of Continuing Education Credits annually

Two (2) years counseling experience in a college setting
Two (2) years career counseling experience
One (1) year with case management
