As a Corrections Stock Clerk for the Department of Corrections you will manage the receipt storage distribution and inventory control activities for a variety of stock items and supplies for SCI Mercer. This professional is responsible for inventorying stock and receiving storing and issuing supplies and raw materials. You will also provide training and orientation toinmate workers and monitor the completion of work assignments as well as maintain accurate attendance records and provide updates to the supervisor regarding progress. Safety is a top priority therefore you will also conduct inmate searches for contraband and ensure the security of the work area. This position also involves preparing routine reports and operating motor vehicles fork lifts or hand trucks to move oversized or heavy items remove scrap materials or make deliveries.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment 40 hours/week.
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM Monday Friday with a 30minute lunch.
- This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.
- Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary:In some cases the starting salary may be nonnegotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of stockroom warehouse retail sales or clerical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirements:
- This position requires possession of an active motor vehicle license.
Additional Requirements:
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown PA is required.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
