SUMMARY
The Senior SharePoint Developer is responsible for building scalable and secure applications in a Dev Test and Production environment while ensuring that the code runs properly prior to deployment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Write and modify code for new and existing applications and sites based on customer requirements.
- Provide ongoing support to current and future systems.
- Collaborate with end users to organize SharePoint content.
- Setting tasks and development goals for both project driven milestones and personal development.
- Configuring SharePoint systems based on end users specified requirements.
- Extending SharePoint functionality with forms web parts and application technologies.
- Integrating Power Platform with SharePoint design and development.
- Review and suggest improvements to existing website interfaces and software to enhance performance and/or stability.
- Organizing and restructuring content within SharePoint.
- Managing permissions for our internal applications especially Power Platform tools and SharePoint.
- Troubleshooting external and internal application issues including userbased issues.
- Maintaining and updating SharePoint applications and content.
- Providing systems training to staff and end users.
- Ongoing research to ensure SharePoint and Power Platform processes and applications are aligned with current iterations of Microsoft Products.
- Extensive experience with SharePoint Online and SharePoint 2016/2019.
- Proficiency in SharePoint Designer InfoPath and SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
- Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture site collections and content management.
- Expertise in developing custom applications using Power Apps.
- Ability to integrate Power Apps with SharePoint Power Automate and other Microsoft 365 services.
- Experience in creating responsive and userfriendly Power Apps solutions.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing workflows using Power Automate.
- Knowledge of automating business processes and integrating with various data sources.
- Strong knowledge of HTML CSS JavaScript and REST APIs.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services including Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions.
- Familiarity with SQL Server and database management.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree in MIS preferred
- Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) or Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) certification.
- Minimum 7 years experience as a SharePoint Developer or closely related field.
- Can be a combination of education training and relevant experience.
COMPETENCIES:
- Understand coding concepts and improve coding skills.
- Solve complex software issues.
- Advanced knowledge of SharePoint Online SharePoint onprem SharePoint Designer
- Advanced knowledge of PowerBI PowerApps Power Automate
- Advanced knowledge in using a computer and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel etc.)
- Proficient in relational database management.
- Work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
- Oral and written communication skills as required for the position.
- Critical thinking and creative troubleshooting skills.
- Selfmotivated proactive and an effective team player.
- Interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees both management and staff alike vendors clients and others.
TRAVEL:
- up to 10%
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- General work environment sitting for long periods standing walking typing carrying pushing bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning
- Noise level is usually low to medium
- Occasional lifting of up to 35 lbs.
