The New England Baptist Hospital is seeking a passionate and skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team specializing in orthopedic and complex spine care. This full-time position offers the opportunity to deliver individualized evidence-based therapy in a setting that emphasizes quality over quantity with 1-hour initial evaluations and 45-minute follow-up sessions all conducted one-on-one.
Job Description:
- Conduct thorough 1-hour initial evaluations to develop comprehensive patient-specific treatment plans.
- Provide 45-minute follow-up sessions ensuring continuity and progression of care.
- Treat a diverse caseload with an emphasis on complex spine and general orthopedic conditions.
- Utilize current evidence-based practices and clinical reasoning to guide treatment.
- Collaborate with physicians surgeons and other rehabilitation team members to deliver cohesive care.
- Educate patients on home exercise programs self-management strategies and prevention techniques.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner consistent with clinic and regulatory standards.
- Participate in ongoing clinical education and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program.
- Current Massachusetts Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one prior to start date.
- Demonstrates experience or strong interest in orthopedic and spine rehabilitation.
- Excellent manual therapy skills and comfort with complex clinical presentations.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and professional growth.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred.
