- We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer with expertise in Azure AD and multifactor authentication (MFA) technologies to lead a critical identity and access management (IAM) migration project. The role involves replacing Okta with Microsoft Azure AD across multiple portals in the LongTerm Care Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in .NET development authentication and authorization mechanisms and identity federation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the migration of Okta authentication to Microsoft Azure AD across multiple web portals.
Develop and implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using Azure AD OAuth 2.0 OpenID Connect and SAML.
Integrate multifactor authentication (MFA) and single signon (SSO) solutions within existing applications.
Modify and enhance .NETbased applications to work seamlessly with Azure AD B2C/B2B.
Ensure compliance with security best practices industry regulations and data privacy standards.
Collaborate with DevOps security teams and business stakeholders to ensure smooth authentication transitions.
Troubleshoot authenticationrelated issues and optimize performance for a seamless user experience.
Document technical designs workflows and best practices related to authentication and identity management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
7 years of experience as a .NET Developer with expertise in C# .NET Core/ and Web API development.
Handson experience with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) OAuth 2.0 OpenID Connect SAML and MFA solutions.
Strong understanding of identity federation authentication flows and rolebased access control (RBAC).
Experience in migrating authentication providers (Okta to Azure AD preferred).
Knowledge of Azure AD B2C/B2B custom policies and identity governance.
Proficiency in SQL Server and cloudbased authentication implementations.
Familiarity with DevOps tools CI/CD pipelines and security best practices.
Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work in an Agile development environment.
Qualification:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- Relevant certifications in emerging technologies
