Job Description
Position Sr. .NET Web Developer
Location Madison WI (Mostly remote)
Duration 1 year
Visa USC GC GC-EAD H4-EAD
Interview Method Video Interview
NOTE: Candidates must be CURRENT WI residents.
Tasks
- Application design and development
- Integration with 3rd party internal and external systems
- Database technology migration from Oracle to Azure SQL and data conversion
- Building and maintaining cloud computing environments
- Analysis of legacy code and logical requirements
- Advising on and executing documentation unit testing and cross testing best practices
Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical / problem solving skills
Skills Required
- 2 years - Experience as a lead developer in a large application development project preferably involving modernization of technology as well as working with a cross functional team to redesign and simplify UX and workflows to meet modern application design standards using a material design library and component framework such as MudBlazor
- 2 years - .NET expert with extensive experience using Core v6-8
- 1 year - Experience in Azure SQL cloud database solution
- 1 year - Experience with GitHub distributed version control and using GitHub actions to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Experience / demonstrated success in designing creating and maintaining web services system integrations web development and highly complex online transaction processing (OLTP).8 years - Experience in Technical Writing and Documentation
- 8 years - Web and client-server application development experience including requirements gathering design coding testing implementation and support
- 8 years - Experience evaluating and recommending programming languages design tools and applications
- 5 years - Experience with change management
- 8 years - Experience with Structured Analysis and Design of Web and Client-Server applications for both transactional and batch applications
- 5 years - SQL client tools / SQL Server experience
