BIS Safety Software is a fastpaced highgrowth organization providing leading software for the safety industry. Were looking to add a handson AI Adoption Lead to our team who will play a pivotal role in integrating AI into the daily operations of every department. This is your opportunity to turn strategy into results and curiosity into impact by helping shape the way BIS works with AI.

About this role
As a member of the Technology team youll help bring AI into the daytoday work of every department at BIS. This role isnt about talking up the future of AIits about making it real practical and useful right now. Youll work across departments to uncover opportunities test ideas and turn AI into a trusted goto tool that helps people do their jobs better faster and more creatively. If youre all about action experimentation and making change stick this is your kind of role.

As an individual you will work with integrity look for opportunities for personal improvement and development of your skills show compassion to our customers and team members and remain humble in everything you do.

This is an inperson role based at our Sherwood Park office.

In this role you will be expected to:

    • Drive AI adoption across BIS by working directly with department heads and teams to identify meaningful opportunities for AI integration.
    • Design run and evaluate AI pilot projects that address real business problems; gather feedback and iterate.
    • Build internal AI resources including toolkits prompt libraries usecase examples and best practices.
    • Create and deliver advanced AI learning sessions workshops and 1:1 mentorships to elevate AI fluency across the company.
    • Track and report on AI usage and wins; compile data case studies and performance metrics for leadership and internal communication.
    • Stay current with AI and emerging technology trends testing tools and evaluating potential for implementation at BIS.
    • Collaborate with L&D to shape a development journey for team members at all skill levels.
    • Serve as the goto internal resource for AI workflows and problemsolving offering handson help where needed.
    • Foster a culture of curiosity and action encouraging departments to initiate their own AIdriven improvements.
    • Build and maintain an innovation pipeline ensuring BIS stays ahead of the curve in leveraging new technology.

You might be the right fit if you:

    • Have a proven ability to lead through action accountability and behaviour changenot just motivation.
    • Possess deep experience and handson proficiency with AI platforms and tools (e.g. OpenAI Anthropic Midjourney Zapier/Make Runway).
    • Have a track record of translating technical capability into real business outcomes.
    • Are comfortable leading departments through AI transitions with clear practical steps.
    • Continuously experiment with new technologies and bring actionable insights back to the team.
    • Can break down complex ideas into accessible motivating and useful language.
    • Work seamlessly with both technical and nontechnical teams.
    • Are excited about emerging tech but focused on what works now and how to scale it across teams.
    • Can take broad goals like AI fluency across departments and build clear plans to get there.

Bonus points if you:

    • Experience implementing Generative AI solutions that delivered measurable business outcomes
    • Background in change management or leading digital transformation initiatives
$70000 $90000 a year
Salary ranges are based on experience reflecting the unique skillset each individual brings to the role.
