DescriptionJOB SUMMARY
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for aiding executive in staff capacity with various administrative and clerical duties. Executes administrative polices determined by or in conjunction with other officials. Reports to the VP/General Manager for successful performance of assigned duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides administrative support to management team members and visitors.
- Performs adhoc office duties such as answering phones organizing materials responding to correspondence assisting with projects etc.
- Ability to utilize systems to book hotel rooms plan travel plus other company programs.
- Ability to handle complex duties that require discretion at an efficient pace.
- Flexible to work in a 24/7 operations business environment.
- Acts as custodian of documents and records.
- Reviews administrative activities with VP/General Manager.
- Good public relation skills and oral communication skills.
- Meets with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE SKILL & ABILITIES
- Seven to ten years of experience in a professional office environment
- 2year degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform multiple duties under frequent time pressure.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENTS
- Frequent sitting with intermittent standing and walking.
- Work environment may include smoke and variable temperature lighting and noise levels.
