Job Description
Job Purpose:
To support the management and growth of the Key Account business in Malaysia by implementing Strategic Customer Planning and fostering strong trade relationships to achieve the company s objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Apply a Strategic Key Account Management approach in managing customer relationships.
- Negotiate national contracts aligned with both the company s commercial policies and client objectives.
- Oversee the implementation of agreements and monitor related investments.
- Maintain strong relationships with key decisionmakers within customer organizations.
- Manage the Profit and Loss (P&L) for assigned accounts.
- Develop and nurture relationships with buyers.
- Coordinate the execution of agreements and promotional activities with the sales team.
- Develop tailored business plans for each assigned key customer.
- Create monthly promotion plans and review customer performance on a monthly and yearly basis including cumulative sales market and category trends promotion design measurement tools and evaluation of promotional effectiveness.
- Possess a deep understanding of key account retail sales strategies and operational frameworks to formulate account strategies set goals and budget constraints and identify opportunities for business collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor s Degree in Business Marketing or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience including a minimum of 3 years in Key Account Management.
- Proficient in both verbal and written communication in English.
- Experience in the FMCG industry is an added advantage.
