Job Description
Our client a global healthcare company is seeking an SAP BW/Datasphere Consultant to drive the transition from SAP BW to SAP Datasphere. You will act as the SME for Financial and Supply Chain analytics ensuring the design implementation and maintenance of robust analytical solutions aligned with healthcare industry standards. This role combines technical expertise with strategic leadership focusing on product costing transformations and regulatorycompliant data governance.
This is a remote position with minimal travel. This contract will run through the end of 2025 with the likelihood of a renewal well into 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the migration from SAP BW to SAP Datasphere ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Maintain and optimize the SAP BW system during the transition phase.
- Architect scalable data models for financial (e.g. cost accounting budgeting) and supply chain analytics (e.g. inventory optimization demand planning).
- Serve as the SME for financial analytics (product costing profitability analysis) and supply chain analytics (batch tracking regulatory compliance).
- Ensure solutions adhere to pharmaspecific regulations (e.g. GxP FDA 21 CFR Part 11).
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (IT Finance Supply Chain) to deliver analytics that drive business decisions.
- Advocate for Datasphere adoption leveraging features like semantic modeling and hybrid architectures.
Requirements
- 5 years in SAP BW development (ABAP BEx HANA modeling).
- Handson experience with SAP Datasphere (formerly SAP DWC) for data integration and cataloging.
- Proficiency in SAP Analytics Cloud SAP S/4HANA and data governance tools.
- Strong understanding of healthcare data workflows (e.g. ERP modules: FICO MM SD).
- Proven track record in pharmaceutical/life sciences with expertise in financial and supply chain analytics.
- Experience with product costing transformations and regulatory reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP BW/4HANA SAP Datasphere or SAP Analytics Cloud certifications.
- Knowledge of AWS/Azure cloud platforms is a plus.
5 7 years of experience in implementing and supporting Ariba solutions (Ariba SCC, Ariba SLP, Ariba Procurement). Knowledge of Ariba integration with SAP ERP or other systems is a plus. Strong understanding of procurement and invoicing processes. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. High Preference. Ariba certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Ariba Procurement). Experience with Ariba Network and Supplier Collaboration. Knowledge of cloud-based procurement solutions and best practices
