You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailProject Overview: Upwork Managed Services is seeking native or fluent speakers of European Portuguese for a recording project. You will use your own recording software to record your voice reading short text files. Scripts will be provided in text files and will equal approximately 3 hours of recording. Payments will be issued after all three hours are reviewed to confirm they meet all of the necessary requirements. The recordings will be used for internal TTS research and development purposes. There will be NO public broadcast paid usage or external TTS model deployment. Your voice will be used exclusively for nonbroadcast internal purposes in perpetuity. General requirements: Native or bilingual proficiency in European Portuguese Proficiency in written English Ability to deliver very expressive dialogues and professional performances conveying the correct emotions as per the script. Ability to commit to submitting 3 hours of recording within 5 business days of contract acceptance and receiving the scripts. Nicetohaves (but not required) Experience working with scripts (for example voiceover work audiobook reading acting) Experience with professional speech recording Technical Requirements for submitted recordings 24 bit 48 kHz mono Unprocessed RAW .wav 60dB noise floor (or better) Naturally minimized background noise breaths and clicks (no plugins) Application Process: Interested talent should submit a proposal and a bid for the full 3 hours of recording. The average fixed price for this work is $175 for three hours. No Upwork fees will be deducted from your earnings meaning you will receive the full bid amount if it is accepted. If you have links to videos or voice recordings of you please list them. Otherwise please do a short 1 minute voice recording to submit as a sample. Multiple freelancers will be hired for this work.
