Business Development
- Effectively develops and implements the marketing plan so as to increase market acceptance for entire assigned product line as well as Santen corporate brand in Hong Kong and Macau.
- Understands the corporate marketing strategy and modifies into local policy by creating strategies regarding pricing and product positioning promotion and sales channels/customer segments.
- Develops an operational plan and budget for the assigned product lines taking customer needs into consideration and in line with customer and business objectives and the predefined country strategy and after approval ensures its implementation.
- Develops oversight of the product tactical plan including program development advertising and sales support materials. Creates multifarious promotional materials for different customer requirement and manage the distribution and use.
- Identifies market opportunities and compiles findings in periodic reports for submission to management.
- Collates and analyzes competitive data and information in support of planning marketing activities as well as conducting analysis of pipeline product marketing feasibility.
- Plans and holds events and realizes smooth and fast sales grow targeting HCPs and relevant stakeholders and thus create awareness for Santen products as well as to support short term and longterm goals for Santen.
- Organizes activities to increase products share of voice through regular events throughout the year.
- Well arranges and implements medical conference and promotional activities. Be creative on promotional event in order to drive growth.
- Conducts postevents follow ups including the collection and analysis of relevant data and proposes next steps.
- Collaborates with sales team in implementing marketing strategies and plans.
- Ensures accuracy and timeliness in routine.
- Supports Macau marketing activities.
- Leads Trade channel marketing activities.
- Works as a team across Santen Pharmaceutical HK
- There would be chance to collaborate with Santen China team to support and explore CN/HK crossborder business opportunities e.g. GBA special importation scheme cross border ecommerce etc.
Driving Financial Performance
- Takes responsible to achieve sales as well as control A&P (Advertisement & Promotion) and S&M training budget including samples and internal training of the entire assigned product line.
- Projects the sales forecast and manages the adequate inventory level by supporting smooth supply chain management with company RA/QA SCM and distributor team.
- Forecasts product sales and market growth strategic planning lifecycle management.
- Manages the advertising and promotion budget.
Others
- Supports and trains Medical Representatives regarding product categories prior to interaction with medical doctors and professionals.
- Completes all other tasks as may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
Qualifications :
- University graduate in life science or related disciplines
- At least 5 years of healthcare Solid Marketing experience.
- Additionally those with over 9 years of healthcare sales and marketing experience are preferred
- Experience in ophthalmology field strong academic background will be a plus
- Experience in multichannel management is a plus
- Highly selfdriven and good leading skills to achieve goals
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Able to work under pressure
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Proficient in MS Office applications including Outlook Word and Excel.
- Strong skills in PowerPoint Presentation.
- Candidate will be considered as Product Manager / Senior Product Manager depending on his/her experience
- Occasional travel will be needed
