Discover Impactful Work:

The SeniorManager Global Service Product Developmentwill lead a small scientific team across technology platforms providing technical focus and insight and driving product development to meet Global Services & Support strategy roadmap objectives. They will focus on key areas of responsibility including leading coaching and developing staff while maintaining direct support development responsibility for a subset of product lines. This individual will also act as a key collaborative partner between commercial business units global service and support colleagues global quality and other product development groups in the company.

A Day in the Life:

The SeniorManager Global Service Product Developmentwill have responsibility for providing focus and support in execution to meet or exceed the strategic objectives as follows:

Product Commercialization

• Team operational excellence with designing and developing service capabilities for new instruments.

• Collaboration with cross-functional partners in launching and sustaining service for new product introductions.

Global Customer Focus

• Builds strong customer relationships that enables the delivery of global customer-centric solutions.

People Leadership

• Builds leadership bench strength and orchestrates movement of associates to the right projects in order to optimize output of content.

Keys to Success:

Education and Experience

• B.S. degree in biochemistry biology or engineering required with a minimum of 10 years meaningful experience (equivalent combinations of education and meaningful work experience may be considered).
• 10 years of Life Sciences industry experience; preferably including experience in a service and support organization and/or product engineering / R&D.
• Successful people management experience required

Knowledge Skills Abilities

• Demonstrable expertise in developing product release criteria for services & support
• Management and leadership skills with strong written and verbal communication
• Feel at ease communicating regularly with technical and business teams
• Ability to work with diverse cross-functional teams across multiple sites
• Willingness to travel up to 20% (domestic and international)
