GenAI Engineer - H/F

We are seeking a skilled Generative AI Engineer to join our team where you will harness model capabilities to implement cuttingedge algorithms and solutions across myriad industries.  

You will serve as a pivotal link between Data Scientists ML and Platform Engineers to unleash the potential of Generative AI technology by implementing businesscentric solutions. You will help customers find the appropriate level of refinement among semantic search RAG agents and ultimately finetuning to reach their value delivery threshold in the most costeffective way. 

Beyond crafting prompts you will be responsible for designing and building robust and scalable products starting with benchmarks of candidate FMs through targeted requests rapidly iterating prototypes and validating product ideas. Your expertise in orchestrating the entire AI workflow will ensure the seamless integration of advanced models capabilities into applications optimizing performance security compliance scalability and efficiency. You will competently navigate between prompts chains and agents while mastering the underlying infrastructure challenges. 

Your role will involve research design implementation and optimization of AI systems. You will need to master both: 

• the model stack (FM VLM SLM) from both private and open foundational models like GPTx Claude Gemini to smaller edge models like Ministral or Arcee AI to deliver costeffective solutions to business users. 

• the landscape of AI application frameworks using chaining retrieval autonomous agents and vector search tools (e.g. LangChain LlamaIndex pgvector).

Responsibilities 

You are part of a crossfunctional consulting team that drives the adoption of Generative AI in every imaginable sector working stepbystep with customers to understand business requirements to design then build bespoke GenAI solutions. 

•  Assist the GenAI Solution Architect in application design  
• Develop applications powered by GenAI models both selfmanaged and APIaccessible that meet business needs and comply with applicable regulations (GDPR EU AI Act Model licenses etc.) 
• Design effective prompts continuously balancing simplicity and complexity to enhance models analytical capabilities refine outputs improve user experience and increase control over business users interactions with the models. 
• Optimize model output accuracy with RAG techniques to retrieve relevant information from predetermined knowledge sources and gain insights into how the model generates the response (including source attribution). 
• Select and finetune the right models to create higherquality multimodal content (images text audio video etc.) and raise the value creation opportunity for businesses. 
• Conduct research on latest advances in generative AI techniques technologies and frameworks. 
• Stay abreast of ethical considerations and ensure responsible AI development and deployment practices to help internal teams and customers navigate the endtoend security and compliance process. 
• Monitor model performance in production and resolve issues related to application scalability and reliability. 
• Document processes methodologies and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference. 
• Differentiate between Generative AI use cases and traditional NLP applications (NER sentimental analysis etc.) 

Qualifications :

We are looking for a professional with a technical background and academic experience building creative AI solutions. 

• Masters degree in computer science engineering or related field. 
• Strong programming skills proficiency in Python and proven experience in at least one major GenAI frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex. 
• Experience in NLP NLU 
• Experience in vector embedding and semantic search. 
• Experience in advanced prompting (Chain Tree and Graph of Thought ReAct Guardrails etc.). 
• Knowledge of both proprietary and opensource ecosystems (Open AI AWS Hugging Face Anthropic Qwen etc.)   
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both highly technical and also nontechnical stakeholders. 
• Sharp problemsolving skills. 
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams. 
• Pioneering spirit with a demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and selfimprovement. 
• French and fluent professional English a must
