Job Description
What our Customer Service Representative will do:
- Communicate with the sales team carriers and warehouses via phone or email to manage distributors special events and other orders
- Process orders and ensure ontime delivery through a network of warehouses and UPS/trucking companies. Plan and arrange shipments.
- Research and resolve delivery issues including issuance of credit or sending replacements
- Fill out contract forms determine charges for service requested enter customer standard updates
- Adjust complaints concerning billing or service rendered independently investigate and solve service issues.
- Manage and approve logistics costs for 3rd party logistics providers.
- Analyze orders and enter orders that align with current stock availability as well as minimize cost.
Qualifications :
Skills & experience that are necessary as our Customer Service Representative will include but not limited to:
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends and travel if necessary.
- Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for long periods of time with or without accommodation.
- Experience with Order Management systems Oracle experience a plus.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Comfortable making important decisions independently or with little guidance.
- Ability to handle multiprojects simultaneously.
- High energy and performance level.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English).
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
GED or high school diploma one to two years previous customer service experience and/or academic background training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
Standard Pay Rate $17.00 an hour
