What You Will Get to Do:

  • Monitor and report on supplier product quality and performance
  • Facilitate communication between KV and suppliers when nonconforming product is found
  • Review engineering and manufacturing specifications to identify materials needed for product assembly
  • Support the Strategic Sourcing team to find the best vendors
  • Conduct supplier quality control audits
  • Understand and interpret all manufacturing audits and other industry standards
  • Support and lead process improvement activities at the supplier
  • Conduct benchmark studies to determine best practice and trends
  • Assist with logistics including communications with vendors

What You Will Bring:

  • 3 years of demonstrated work experience in supplier quality strong knowledge of APQP Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) Lean manufacturing and ISO9001
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field
  • Experience working with ERP systems and intermediate skills in MS Office
