Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) owns the design planning delivery and operation of all AWS global data centers. In other words were the people who keep the cloud running. You will join a diverse team of supply chain and strategic sourcing experts material managers and other vital roles. Your work will directly impact AWSs ability to deliver reliable cloud services to millions of customers worldwide. You will play a highimpact global role that directly influences the success of multibilliondollar programs through strategic supplier partnerships and innovative supply chain solutions. As Sr. Global Supply Manager for the assigned liquid cooling category you will lead the supply chain development and the deployment of advanced cloud infrastructure solutions. You will ensure continuity of supply and maintain unconstrained supply at a global scale for liquid cooling category. You will also work with internal customers and business partners to understand demand signals and drive the appropriate supply strategies to deliver continuity of supply. Additionally you will work very closely with Data Center Engineering team collaborate with Technical Program and Product Managers and other cross functional teams and develop and manage liquid cooling supply chain globally.

This position is located in Austin TX.

Key job responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive global supply chain strategies to deliver highquality liquid cooling solutions to our customers in a timely manner and at optimal costs.
Manage endtoend supply chain operations including supplier delivery performance capacity logistics and lead time.
Develop procurement process and drive continuous improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency agility and resilience.
Collaborate crossfunctionally with engineering product managers quality demand planning team.
Support liquid cooling product roadmap development influence supplier and technology selection and make optimal supply chain decisions that provide the most benefit to AWS.
Proactively manage and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure uninterrupted delivery.
Create and execute dualsourcing strategies for the categories.
Identify and implement innovative supply chain technologies and best practices to drive supply chain flexibility and resiliency to meet AWS business requirements.
Develop analytical reports to deliver information to business partners and stakeholders that support improved decision making.
Develop predictive analytics models for demand forecasting and capacity planning.


A day in the life
Each day you will interact with external supply base and different internal teams responsible for engineering product development finance integration and operation of these complex technology programs. You prioritize your activities to support data center product development and delivery identify and resolve problems and blockers and focus on the actions that are most impactful for business success.

Bachelors or advanced degree in Supply Chain Management Business or relative technical field or 4 years experience in lieu of a college degree
5 years experience in global supply chain management program management sourcing and supplier relationship management owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
Experience in technology manufacturing industry or data center procurement
Proven track record of delivering complex global supply chain initiatives
Excellent problemsolving analytical and decisionmaking skills
Collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a dynamic fastpaced environment
Passion for driving innovation and making a meaningful impact

Industry experience of liquid cooling technologies and the broader HVAC/cooling industry.
Masters degree or MBA in business operations human resources adult education organizational development instructional design or related field global procurement experience.
Demonstrated performance in prior role(s) with increasing levels of responsibility.
Experience in data centers an infrastructure service provider or similar technology company.
A desire to grow professionally as the roles responsibility grows rapidly with the business.
Excellent creative thinking skills with emphasis on developing innovative solutions to solve complex problems that may not have one clear answer.
