The school is housed within Franciscan Childrens a renowned provider of health services for children with complex needs. Compassion and enthusiasm empower a lively learning the direct supervision of the Program Director the Vision Specialist is responsible for coordinating the provision of vision services for all Kennedy Day School students with a known or suspected visual impairment. The Vision Specialist through consultation and direct service provides expertise in the areas of functional vision assessment development and generalization. The Vision Specialist provides services to individual students their families and staff members to promote generalization of vision related skills to meaningful daily activities that have a positive impact on learning communication participation independence and overall quality of life
