About Tru Builders
Tru Builders is a familyowned designbuild remodeling firm serving the West Valley and greater Phoenix area since 2010. We specialize in custom kitchens bathrooms additions and fullhome renovations. As we grow were seeking a PreConstruction Coordinator to ensure our projects launch with accuracy alignment and zero surprises.
The Opportunity: PreConstruction Coordinator
This role is the keystone between design and construction. Youll organize the transition from approved plans to a buildready package finalizing details permits estimates and documentation that allow our production team to succeed. Your work ensures our clients experience a smooth start our field team works with confidence and our jobs launch on time and fully prepared.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the project handoff process between design and production
- Confirm the scopes of work approved materials client selections and documentation
- Coordinate subcontractor bids vendor pricing and longlead material orders
- Prepare and distribute internal handoff packages to the Project Manager and field crew
- Ensure permitting and approvals are in place prior to project start
- Track and communicate preconstruction tasks deadlines and responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with design staff clients trade partners and operations
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in remodeling construction coordination estimating or preconstruction support
- Familiarity with permitting design selections and construction documentation
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and tasktracking abilities
- Proficiency with cloudbased tools and construction software (Buildertrend experience a plus)
- A proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Commitment to delivering accurate timely and organized project readiness
