Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed 3D mechanical models (HVAC plumbing piping) in Revit in coordination with other disciplines.
- Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks Manage; resolve issues proactively through coordination meetings.
- Interpret mechanical engineering drawings and specifications and convert them into accurate BIM models.
- Collaborate with architects structural engineers and other MEP disciplines to produce coordinated construction documents.
- Maintain and update BIM models throughout project phases ensuring all changes are accurately documented.
- Create and manage parametric Revit families and maintain model integrity according to BIM standards.
- Support project teams with BIMrelated tasks including shop drawing extraction and quantity takeoffs.
- Assist in developing and enforcing BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and projectspecific modeling stand.
Key Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Drafting Technology or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of handson experience in mechanical BIM modeling for MEP systems.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP) and Navisworks Manage is essential.
- Strong understanding of mechanical system design layout and coordination.
- Experience working on largescale commercial healthcare or industrial projects is a plus.
- Ability to interpret construction documents and work collaboratively in multidisciplinary environments.
- Strong communication time management and organizational skills.
