Job Description
A wellestablished construction and civil engineering company in Malta is seeking an experienced and strategic Construction Operations Manager to oversee all operational aspects of ongoing projects. This is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently safely and to the highest quality standards while aligning with the companys overall objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee daytoday operations across multiple construction sites to ensure efficiency and compliance with project timelines budgets and safety regulations.

Lead project planning resource allocation and performance management across teams.

Collaborate closely with site supervisors project managers and engineers to ensure seamless execution of works.

Monitor KPIs and ensure consistent implementation of operational policies and procedures.

Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and drive a culture of safety across all sites.

Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve productivity and performance.

Liaise with senior management on strategic planning forecasting and business development opportunities.

Support recruitment training and development of site and operations staff.

Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients suppliers and subcontractors.

Manage project budgets cost tracking and reporting on financial performance.
Requirements
-
Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in a senior construction management or operations role.

Strong background in civil engineering or general construction.

Degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Indepth knowledge of construction operations contract management and site logistics.

Exceptional leadership problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Proficiency in construction management software and reporting tools.

Fluent in English; Maltese is an asset.

Strong understanding of Maltese building codes regulations and safety standards.
