ICT Systems Manager
The School

The School Leadership Team (SLT) comprises the Principal Deputy Principal Dean of Student Wellbeing Dean of Teaching & Learning and the Business Manager.
The Position
The ICT Systems Manager will drive strategyled improvements and deliver project management working as both a systems architect and systems administrator reporting to the Director of ICT.
The ICT Systems Manager is responsible for effective provisioning installation/ configuration operation and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. The ICT Systems Manager will work within the ICT support group to provide expert assistance and guidance to support in BusinessasUsual (BAU) operations and ICT Projects as determined by the ICT Strategic Direction of the School.
As the second in command within the ICT Department the ICT Systems Manager will often be tasked with providing relief for the Director of ICT during periods of absence. This involves stepping into a more strategic role and assuming a higher level of responsibility. In such instances the Systems Manager is expected to oversee all department operations make critical decisions and provide guidance and leadership to the team. This part of the role requires a deep understanding of the departments function a close working relationship with the Director of ICT and a thorough grasp of the schools ICT strategy and direction. The ability to confidently and competently step into this leadership role ensures continuity in the departments operations and projects.
The position is permanent fulltime (38 hours per week). Usual hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm with a half hour lunch break. Start and finish times are flexible and may be varied by mutual agreement.
