Job Description
A dynamic construction company is seeking a skilled and detailoriented Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join their team in Cape Town.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying Construction Management or a related field.
- 58 years experience in Quantity Surveying / Estimating within the construction industry.
- Proven knowledge of construction methods materials and industry practices.
- Strong command of MS Excel MS Projects and estimating software CCS Candy etc.
- Excellent numerical analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Sound knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
- Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates.
- Interpret drawings and specifications to define scope and material requirements.
- Tendering: Develop and submit competitive tender proposals.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing.
- Cost Control: Track and monitor project expenses.
- Maintain and manage project budgets to ensure financial targets are met.
