Job Description
A premier event services company local to Lithia Springs GA at is searching for a CAD Drafter to contribute to their exhibition design team by creating plans and elevations for exhibit programs. Responsibilities:
* Generate plans elevations views sections and detailed drawings adhering to established orthographic drafting standards and scaling practices.
* Annotate drawings with necessary hardware specifications finish notes and assembly instructions.
* Incorporate redline corrections and additions to drawings following review by project managers.
* Develop layout plans for display fabrication encompassing general dimensioning carpeting electrical layouts hanging signage and graphic placement for booth installations.
* Produce line drawings suitable for CNC router operations.
* Conduct onsite measurements and sketches of existing displays as needed.
* Translate sketches and layouts into CAD prints including floor plans elevations electrical setups networking data configurations and shopready detailed prints.
* Demonstrate strong technical organizational and communication skills to articulate clear and concise drawings essential for installation and construction purposes.
*Collaborate closely with engineering sales project management and purchasing teams on a regular basis.
* Manage and utilize drawing layers effectively.
* Apply appropriate drawing scales concerning text dimensions lines viewpoints etc.
* Proficiently create crosssections and profiles demonstrating expertise in drafting dimensioning tolerancing and manufacturing processes.
Requirements:
* Experience with AutoCAD 3D drawing and modeling required
* Technical School Certification and/or degree is required
* Experience with Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus
* Experience in MS Office products including PowerPoint
* Strong portfolio of work from professional or educational background
* Good technical organizational and communication skills to develop clear concise drawings for installation & construction.
* A heavy visual /3D acclimated mind set.
