We currently have an opportunity for a Mechanical Engineering student to join our COOP program at our manufacturing plant in Louisville KY.
Pay: $20.50 $22.50/ hour
Responsibilities
Your Role:
As an Electrical Engineering student in our COOP program you will build on classroom learning through paid work terms directly related to Electrical Engineering while actively enrolled in college.
You will have the opportunity to Make Great Things Happen!
- Work closely with a fulltime engineer learning Electrical Engineering.
- Be involved in various projects that are assigned by the engineers and production.
- Participate in activities that range from doing drawings that fit the projects need to solving engineering issues in the plant.
Ultimately you will gain valuable handson experience and get a head start on your career.

Requirements
We need you to have:
- Present enrollment at the University level majoring in Electrical Engineering for at least 3 months a year.
- Ability to pass a regular physical examination by a doctor as you will be required to walk various distances on the plant floor and lift 20 lbs.
- Ability to learn and use various tools/equipment including computer programs including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD along with standard engineering measuring devices.
- Ability to spend approximately 75% of the work day in an office environment and 25% in a plant environment.
- Ability and willingness to wear appropriate safety equipment that is provided by the plant.
