Job Summary
The Systems Support Analyst I Plant Operations is responsible for providing technical support associated with all network communications aspects of the manufacturing plants. Areas of support include technology in the LAN WAN SDWAN VPN hardware associated with the infrastructure (physical layer cabling switches routers access points firewalls). This position will work closely with different Plant operations engineers and IT teams to provide support for network services.
The Systems Support Analyst I Plant Operations will be installing Cisco Meraki switches and Palo Alto firewalls as well as crosstraining with convergent server visualization technologies running on Nutanix hardware. The project will be to deliver these technologies to manufacturing plant worldwide. The position will transition from a project based rollout to production longterm.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities

- Provides Daily firsttier support for all networking issues
- Meraki Switches Palo Alto firewalls
- Cable/wiring issues
- Monitors the health of all systems under the area of responsibility
- Analyzes and troubleshoots problems escalates or reroutes issue to higher qualified experts
- Assists in the designs and implementation of networking solutions
- Proactively monitors KPMs associated with network reliability and if necessary intervene and improve on those as a result of analysis
- Identifies opportunities to improve and use new ideas and networking technologies to meet or exceed business objectives
- Manages vendor relationships as it depends on daily operations need
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Strong organization and planning skills
- Strong interpersonal / relationship management skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills
Education/Experience Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or related discipline preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an operations support role in enterprise environments with geographically dispersed locations
- Working experience with Cisco Meraki Palo Alto firewalls long0range ethernet fiber connectivity SDWAN and Aryaka solutions are beneficial
- Prior use of Meraki Systems Manager Solar Winds and Palo Alto Panorama management suites are preferred
- Experience with support of multisite highavailability networking solutions
- Cisco Nutanix Windows Server/HyperV or related industry certifications owned or obtained within 18 months of employment required
Work Environment
Job duties will be carried out in multiple environments including office plant customer location and transportation vehicles.
