At Medtronic we are looking for a driven and collaborative finance professional to join our Global Operations & Supply Chain (GO&SC) Strategy Finance team supporting the Capital Center of Excellence (COE). This role reports to the Capital COE Process Manager and plays a key role in driving investment budgeting forecasting and reporting processes across Medtronics Enterprise Operations.

In this position you will partner closely with operations and finance leaders across Enterprise Operations to promote consistency accuracy and governance across investment processes.

Key activities include:

  • Lead standardized investment reporting through Power BI and promote adoption of global reporting tools and standards.

  • Develop and review Investment Committee (InvestCOM) materials in partnership with functional leadership and finance.

  • Manage Planisware forecast cycles ensuring alignment and reconciliation with Financial Systems (OneStream).

  • Maintain and enhance standard templates and guidance including the Economic Analysis Template.

  • Drive process governance data integrity monitoring and controls across investment activities.

  • Support global communication and training efforts for investment-related processes.

A Day in the Life:

  • Deliver timely reporting on new investment requests for GOSC Enterprise Operations Investment Committee and Enterprise Operations MLT.

  • Monitor and report on forecast accuracy and performance against Capital and Operating Expense budgets.

  • Create and deliver training and guidance for over 6000 Planisware users across Enterprise Operations.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on investment processesincluding business case support project tracking and strategic budgeting.

  • Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline and standardize investment processes.

  • Collaborate within a dynamic and forward-thinking finance team committed to delivering strategic value and driving results.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Required Knowledge and Experience:Requires advanced knowledge of job area combining breadth and depth typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.


    May have practical knowledge of project management.


    Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$68800 - $103200

he base salary range is applicable across the United States excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience certification/education market conditions and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
