Our client outside Paarl is in urgent need of a Maintenance Technician to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities

Requirements:
Minimum requirement:
Trade Tested Fitter & Turner
Experience Required:
Minimum years 2 4 of experience in a similar role
Experience in FMCG Machinery Plumbing Electrical Welding will be beneficial

Duties and Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

Performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage
Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage.
Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs.
Maintaining the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly.
Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems.
Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.
Ordering of parts with management confirmation

Skills and characteristics required of this role:
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Computer literate
Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
Strong leadership skills
Flexibility
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure
