JOB SUMMARY

The Account Manager l Midwest will be responsible for prospecting developing and closing sales opportunities. This position will beresponsible for selling technology solutions in core competencies of storage securityvirtualization backup networking innovation cloud and data intelligence services. Thisposition will have a strong understanding of how technology enables businesses to developstrategies and meet objectives. The Account Manager l Midwest will be involved in the entiresales cycle including leading meetings to discuss key business and technology issues assessclients needs and identify the products/solutions that best meet those needs.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Drive business line revenue within assigned territory and accounts; discover prospectand qualify new opportunities as well as crosssell and upsell opportunities withinexisting customer base
  • Responsible for supervising and ensuring optimal client satisfaction throughout theentire life cycle of the engagement by providing the Trace3 Total Customer Experience
  • Represent Trace3 to the customer in all salesrelated matters and understand thecustomers business product requirements and industry challenges
  • Lead the proposed solution including transitioning the build and implementation to thedelivery team and remain engaged with the client while becoming a thought leaderfor the next opportunity
  • Build and maintain indepth knowledge of Trace3s products services partners andmarkets
  • Direct complex sales cyclesincluding account mapping development of highlevelrelationships account strategies and business cases
  • Communicate Trace3s value proposition to varying technical and nontechnical clientsincluding executive C level management VP and Director levels and endusers
  • Establish strong and lasting relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers in client organizations
  • Work closely with the client to understand and manage their expectations whilesimultaneously working closely with the Trace3 Team to ensure delivery

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of three years of relevant sales experience within technology environment
  • Excellent understanding of business environments and challenges of IT operations in an enterprise level corporation
  • Strong understanding of how clients use technology to meet business objectives
  • Strong financial and business acumen with understanding of a multifaceted businessoperation
  • Excellent oral written communication and presentation skills with an ability to presenttechnical issues training sessions and demos to CLevel Executives and nontechnicalaudience
  • Highly organized detailoriented excellent time management skills and able toeffectively prioritize tasks in a fastpaced highvolume and evolving work environment
  • Ability to approach customer and sales requests with a proactive and consultativemanner; listen and understand user requests and needs and effectively deliver
  • Comfortable managing multiple and changing priorities and meeting deadlines in anentrepreneurial environment
  • Motivated selfstarter who loves to solve challenging problems and feels comfortableworking directly with customers
Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including location experience skill set performance licensure and certification and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation such as bonuses or commissions that is not included in the base salary.

$50000 $75000 USD
