POSITION: Network School Psychologist Evaluation Specialist
GRADE LEVEL: Middle and High School
LOCATION: Based in Denver CO with travel to 16 schools across Denver and Aurora
SALARY: $70300$85700 based on aligned years of experience up to 10 years. We also offer a relocation stipend for anyone joining us from 75 miles or more from Denver!

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
DSSTs Network Evaluation Specialist School Psychologist plays a critical role in ensuring students with disabilities receive highquality legally compliant special education evaluations. Reporting to the Home Office Exceptional Learner Team this role supports schools in identifying students with socialemotional needs conducting initial and reevaluations and collaborating closely with school teams and families to connect students to appropriate services.
The Network School Psychologist Evaluation Specialist will assess students for cognitive as well as social emotional impacts and support in creating connections with school based teams and the community to provide appropriate supports. This position will include working closely with the school based team and families to understand impact areas complete the necessary assessments and summarizing results in a holistic comprehensive manner so schools and families can connect students with the appropriate supports. The Network School Psychologist Evaluation Specialist will support student cases across the DSST network at both the Middle School and High School levels and may include students who receive mild/moderate support as well as center programming. This role requires significant interpersonal skills given the collaboration between families school teams and special service providers as well as strong communication organization and time management.
Evaluation & Assessment (80%)
Conduct inschool assessments and participate in eligibility meetings (on average) 45 days per week.
At the direction of the Lead Network Evaluation Specialist and in collaboration with the Home Office Exceptional Learner Team be assigned to schools and individual cases throughout the DSST network in order to ensure all students with disabilities have strong comprehensive evaluations and assessments that match students with the appropriate in school and community support.
Assignments will include working on several special education evaluations simultaneously and supporting multiple schools throughout the course of a week.
Collaboration & Communication (20%)
Build strong collaborative relationships with members of the school Special Education Team including special service providers.
Communicate with General Education Teachers Special Education Teachers and Special Service Providers about information needed and timelines for assessments and special education evaluations.
Communicate regularly with families outside providers and comprehensive IEP teams in a collaborative and student focused manner.
Communicate regularly with the Home Office Exceptional Learner and Home Office Mental Health Team as needed.
Coached and managed by the Lead Network Evaluation Specialist including weekly coaching and development meetings.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
School Psychology Experience:
3 Years serving as a School Psychologist at the middle school or high school level
3 Years experience administering a variety of standardized assessments conducting root cause analysis and writing holistic comprehensive evaluation reports.
An unwavering belief that all students can succeed in high school reach their most ambitious postsecondary goals @lead exemplary lives.
Desire to personally and professionally grow in their practice of becoming an antiracist and antiableist educator.
Proven commitment to and experience with serving students of color students with disabilities and/or multilingual students.
Selfawareness a regular practice of reflection and a desire to continuously improve their practice communication and leadership skills.
Education & Licensure:
Masters Degree in School Psychology from accredited university
