As a Senior Strategy Consultant you will serve as an Aftermarket Services consultant and divisional expert in Resource Industries (RI) where decisions and recommendations are made for strategic advantage and contribute to the divisions business and longterm leadership position. You will collaborate closely with enterprise partners on aftermarket growth strategies foundational to delivering our customer experience standards and Caterpillars Services growth targets. You will be accountable for driving revenue and profitable growth for the Resource Industries Aftermarket Services team.

You are excited about this opportunity because you will:

• Be the voice of the Leadership Table process within RI as well as with the Enterprise Strategy Division (ESD) and other key business partners.

• Lead the RI Leadership Table and governance process for Machines Services and Technology products.

• Lead the RI Cat Dependency and governance process for Machines Services and Technology products.

• Provide Project Management Office (PMO) leadership support for dealer growth plans.

• Update senior leadership on dealer growth plan progress to ensure ontrack performance.

• Lead special projects where needed to address areas of opportunity & growth.

• Facilitate project prioritization discussions with key business partners.

• Be responsible for performing other job duties occasionally as assigned based on business need.

What skills you will have:

Strategic Thinking: Experience working in strategy sales marketing and/or pricing. Project management experience and industry knowledge will set you apart.

Customer Focus: Knowledge and/or experience working with CAT Dealers. Familiarity with machines components and systems.

Data Gathering & Analysis: Skilled in the use of analytical tools for lead & opportunity management. Experience in financial analysis.

Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decisionmaking process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Effective Communications: Strong communication and presentation skills. Excellent influencing skills. A clear sense of accountability. Strong in initiative. Ability to make complex concepts easy to understand.

Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients business partners and peers. Motivated a selfstarter able to work autonomously. Excited to work with people from different backgrounds and cultures.

Top candidates will also have:

Aftermarket services machine and/or technology field experience.

Additional Information:

The primary location for this position is Peoria IL or Tucson AZ.

This position may require 20 % travel.

Relocation is available.

Summary Pay Range:
