Job Description
General Purpose of the Job:
The Service Coordinator handles customer compressed air scheduling and issues via phone including air compressors blowers and vacuum pumps. Strong mechanical background preferred. Good organizational skills with the ability to work closely with customers to resolve issues in a timely manner; exceeding customer expectations and increasing overall customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with customers via phone to schedule service calls and/or assist in resolving compressed air issues.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure to resolve issues.
- Work effectively with customer to ensure call meets/exceeds customer expectations willing to go the extra mile.
- Ability to quickly resource information/individuals when needing assistance to complete repair.
- Proactively promotes John Henry Foster products/parts and services.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications Skills and Education:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure or deadlines.
- Mechanical aptitude helpful and/or training.
- 2 years of experience in a related field is helpful but not required.
