Job Description
What you will do
Lead accounting operations for assigned entities including general ledger maintenance reconciliations and transaction reporting ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls (ERP Hyperion SOX).
Take ownership of entities in scope and collaborate with Local Finance Teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries prepared by the team ensuring alignment with corporate policies.
Coach and support team members serving as the key operational point of contact for the region.
Support the manager in executing key responsibilities and maintaining team performance.
Manage audit processes by leading discussions coordinating responses to internal and external queries and ensuring audit readiness.
Drive process improvements lead standardization initiatives and coordinate issue escalations to improve efficiency.
What you need
Required:
Minimum Bachelor/HBO in Accounting or equivalent certification
Minimum 4 years of experience in an accounting position
Experience in ERP systems
Strong Excel skills
Fluent spoken and written English
Preferred:
Knowledge of French would be an added value
Shared Service experience is preferred
Familiar with Sarbanes Oxley Act and/or other internal control concepts knowledge of US GAAP would be an advantage
